Yes. Too Sharp, LLC is a permitted Maryland barbershop and Marc Dickens is a registered Master Barber sponsor, so hours you work here are reported monthly to the Maryland Board of Barbers. Maryland requires 2,250 hours for a barber licence, or 1,650 for a Barber-Stylist Limited licence, followed by a written and a practical exam. We report your hours; the Board makes all licensing decisions.

Learning & Training
Learning modules are online and self-paced. The apprenticeship is in-person in Maryland. Booking services are in-person only.
No experience required. Most modules are beginner-labeled and start from the ground up.
No tools needed for online modules. For hands-on practice: clipper, trimmer, guard set, straight razor, and disinfectants.
No. The online modules are educational. They are not a Board-approved barber school program and do not on their own count toward Maryland licensure hours. Completing them does not qualify you to practise barbering — Maryland requires a licence.
Every module has a free preview anyone can watch. A membership unlocks the full lessons and downloadable resources. It does not include one-to-one coaching, a certificate, or a licence.
Cost & Pricing
Services start at $5 for add-ons and $20 for a speed fade. Full services range from $25–$35+.
Cuts vary with hair length, density, and whether beard work is involved, so those are starting prices confirmed at the consultation. Add-ons like the hot towel and shampoo are fixed and never change.
