Training Access Terms

These terms govern access to the TooSharp Learning training modules, operated by Too Sharp, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. By creating an account or taking out a training membership you agree to them.

1. What access includes

A training membership gives you:

  • Full lesson videos for every published module
  • Any downloadable resources attached to those modules
  • Access to modules added during your membership period

It does not include:

  • One-to-one coaching, feedback on your work, or mentorship
  • A certificate, diploma, or qualification of any kind
  • A barber licence, or hours that count toward one
  • Job placement, chair placement, or an apprenticeship position

Free previews are available on every module without a membership and without an account.

2. Plans and duration

  • Monthly — access for one month from the start date.
  • Quarterly — access for three months from the start date.
  • Lifetime — access for as long as we operate the TooSharp Learning platform. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the platform, not the lifetime of the member. If we discontinue the platform we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.
  • Admin granted — access we provide directly, for example to an apprentice. It may carry an expiry date and may be withdrawn at any time.

3. Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Payment is taken at the start of each membership period. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@toosharplearning.com. Cancelling stops any future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for and then ends. We do not pro-rate part-periods.

4. Refunds

If you have taken out a membership and watched no full lessons, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, or once you have accessed full lesson content, membership fees are non-refundable. This is because access to digital content is immediate and cannot be returned.

This section covers training memberships only. Refunds and cancellations for barber services are covered by our Cancellations & Refunds Policy.

If something is genuinely wrong — a broken video, a missing resource — tell us and we will fix it or refund you regardless of the window above.

5. Your account

A membership is for one person. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done under your account. Sharing your credentials, or letting anyone else use your access, will result in termination without a refund.

6. Content licence

All training content — videos, written material, and downloadable resources — remains the property of Too Sharp, LLC. Your membership grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to view it while your membership is active.

You may not:

  • Download, record, screen-capture, or re-upload the videos
  • Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute any part of the content
  • Use the content to teach paid classes, run a course, or train employees commercially
  • Remove or alter any attribution or copyright notice

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access without refund if you breach these terms, share your account, redistribute content, or use the platform in a way that harms other members or the business. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will contact you first.

8. Changes to the content

The module library is not fixed. We may add, revise, re-record, or retire modules as techniques, regulations, and equipment change. We do not guarantee that any specific module will remain available for the duration of your membership.

9. No licensure or employment guarantee

Training content is educational. It is not a Board-approved barber school program and does not by itself count toward Maryland licensure hours. Completing modules does not qualify you to practise barbering — Maryland requires a licence.

Maryland licensure requires either 1,200 hours in a Board-approved barber school or 2,250 hours as a registered apprentice in a permitted barbershop under a Master Barber sponsor, followed by written and practical examinations. Confirm current requirements with the Maryland Department of Labor, Board of Barbers (barbers.cos@maryland.gov · 410-230-6190).

Outcomes, income, and career progress depend entirely on your own effort, hours, and circumstances. Nothing here is a promise of a financial or professional result.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your membership we will email you before it takes effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Prince George's County, Maryland.
